April 25

April 25

After falling asleep, drunk and exhausted at 4 or 5am, I woke up with what seemed like a throat cold. I showered and prepared for a lunch meeting regarding a possible cookbook (I know, what a crazy life!), vigorously using my neti pot in hopes of clearing out the sick. Well, turns out, a lot of it is allergies. With maybe a little cold thrown in from walking around Venice Beach at three am without the right California-night clothing.

After a nice lunch at La Vineria on 55th (oh, which had been preceded by a miserable cab ride with New York's least-aggressive driver in Fifth Avenue Queensboro Bridge traffic, and ten blocks of walking with Mary's gigantic canvas man-purse), I ha a three-hour conference call regarding the social network.

Couldn't get a cab, so I walked home on another beautiful (and pollen filled) late-afternoon. Here, around Columbus Circle, a large group of people gathered around a big brass band busking at the entrance to the park.

Jules and I tool Movie for a nice long walk in the Park, lamenting the loss of the apartment we had put a bid on at the beginning of the week. Alas, we were outbid, and I'm in mourning still. It was very close to the perfect apartment, though I get attached easily.... Oh well, there will be another.

My allergies got the best of me, and it escalated as the night wore on. We had sushi at Kitaro, watched Survivor, and I tried to go to bed early. But it wasn't in the cards. Instead, I got up and caught up on some tivoes shows. And that brings us to this moment in time.

My brain has stopped working. This is easily the most boring and badly written entry of the bunch. I'm tempted to simply erase it all, even breaking the haiku tradition... but I've put so much work into typing it on my iPhone! I haven't gone to the gym in a week! I haven't written or outlined the script at all... what's become of me?

Hills in India

Hills in India

First thing you will notice about Nalagarh is the "Roads of Nalagarh". Nalagarh is quiet an industrial developing town , However the Roads of Nalagarh is quiet a concern . Few Roads that emerges / joins from/to Nalagarh are Ropar road , Pinjore road , Swarghat road . Swarghat road had bad fortunes from the beginning, it's a single line road which is marred by the Heavy Laden trucks. It may take a lot of jumps to reach your destination while trudging this road. Ropar road and Pinjore road have similar stories . Recently a bridge has been constructed between Ropar and Nalagarh on Sirsa River, which has helped the two towns to be connected smoothly.Presently The Road from Ropar to Nalagarh is being developed. Hope by this May '08 the work will be completed
